Student opportunities and activities

At Wiley Park Public School, we offer a variety of programs in the classroom and across the school to help students build new skills, make friends and explore new interests.

Our extra-curricular highlights

Public speaking

Students can develop their thinking and communication skills through public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Music

Our music programs inspire creativity and self-expression in students. They have the opportunity to join ensembles such as band, recorder group, or ukulele group, and showcase their talents during a variety of school events.

STEAM

At our school, the STEAM program encourages students to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on projects. Join us to spark your creativity, develop critical thinking skills, and innovate for the future!

Interest based Clubs

At our school, students have the opportunity to explore their passions and build new skills through a variety of interest-based clubs. Whether it’s sharpening strategic thinking in the Chess Club, mastering wordplay in the Scrabble Club, there’s something for everyone. These clubs meet weekly and offer a fun,inclusive environment for students to connect, compete, and grow beyond the classroom.

Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

PSSA

At our school, PSSA offers students the chance to participate in exciting sports competitions and build lasting friendships. Join us to stay active, develop teamwork skills, and proudly represent our school community!

Art Groups
